Time is a treasure, who utilizes it in a proper way, is a very wise and lucky person. In our lives, some tasks demand specific timings and after that nothing matters. If one crucial step is taken at the right time, it can create great change and can make our lives from good to best and improve the whole society towards betterment. 





We all have heard the saying “Time waits for no one”. It is very true because no one has the power to stop the clock or slow it down. It will keep moving whether you like it or not. When we lose time, we can never recover it. In this scenario, we must have special care of our time.

Time is wealth and correct timings are more valuable. One task sometimes is important, but the specific time for that task is crucial. If we go to school or our office, after the required time, we have to face penalty in any form. If we take a patient to the hospital, but we are late, then we usually cannot find an effective treatment. If we have to travel by train or plane, we have to reach at the time or before some time, otherwise, we will miss our travel.


If we miss a specific time, we have to pay a lot, sometimes for a very long time. If we miss a marriage proposal or a job opportunity, unduly, sometimes we have to wait for a very long time. We have to take a true decision, at the right time.

Time is one of the most valuable things, because:

1. Time remains always with us and acts as both: a teacher and a healer. With the passage of time, we can get experience and learn a lot, which has no other option. Time also works as a healer. A difficult or painful situation will seem less bad as time passes.


2. Time is the one thing that you can never get back. Once time has gone, it will never return. Time is an asset.


3. Nobody knows how much time they have. People can die at any age and for any reason. So, we take a good care of our life and time as well.


4. Every single thing in the universe is bound to time. Gradually all things start aging and eventually decay as time progresses.

5. We are aware of three stages of time - the past, the present, and the future but the only time we actually have is the present.


Our world is filled with so many distractions that eat up a lot of our time. Smartphones have become so advanced that they command a lot of our attention. You have social media, YouTube, news, and anything else right in the palm of your hand. We feel that we are bound to use them. Those who have self-control and mental maturity, they try to control their time by using it correctly, rather than controlled by these distractions. These people became successful in life and they make their lives better and make their society a better place to live.

Ramadan: A Refresher Course

 Ramadan is a sacred month in Islam. It takes a lot of blessings for the Muslims. It is a month that refreshes Islamic teachings, which we usually forget in our lives due to our business and worldly desires. This Holly month reminds us of those Islamic pious traditions and blessings. So, we must make our whole life from good to best by getting all these benefits this month.

 

In fact, the month of Ramadan is just like a refresher course for us. It takes us back to the core Muslim traits from which we may have deviated during the rest of the year. It revives our five-time prayers, our optional prayers, our feelings for those who cannot afford all these blessings we have and our piousness during this holy month. If we do all these good deeds only in Ramadan and forget all these good activities after it, then this month will lose its effectiveness.

 

It also revives our golden family traditions as well. In the times of sehar and aftaar, all family members are together. In this way, we can have a good time with our loved ones. We can share our problems and happy events with our family in a better way. It is definitely a great blessing of Ramadan, especially for those families who could not spend their experiences with each other.

 

It decreases the gap between the people and their creator. When, for the sake of Allah the Almighty, we control our eligible desires, we come closer to Him. This practice for thirty consecutive days may change our usual daily routines in a positive direction. It may be the aim of this sacred month.

If we lead this month in a very good way and after that, we forget this holly routine after the advent of Eid Moon. In this way, the effectiveness of this month may be decreased. So, if we celebrate our Eid with full Islamic traditions and also continue our previous good Islamic rules. In this way, we can lead not only Ramadan but our whole life in an effective way.

Effects of Covid-19 on Society

 Society is in a state of continuous change and is in the effects of Covid-19 on Society. It is affected by a lot of factors including economic circumstances, natural disasters, and epidemics. Sometimes these effects become so excessive that change their basic structure like a recent epidemic through which we are passing “Covid-19”. Its impact on our lives is so drastic that restricts to make our lives to become good to best. 


This pandemic has very serious effects on the lives of people as a whole. First and foremost, among these is that many people have to lose their lives, which is an irreversible thing. Many loved ones are lost somewhere due to Covid-19. How this loss affected our lives, can be imagined if we can listen to the horrible stories of the affected families.

 

We all know that Covid-19 has changed our economic structure. People have lost their jobs due to the restrictions placed by governments all over the world. In the developed countries, affected people are provided with the maximum part of their lost salaries but what about the people living in the developing areas. They had to face the worst economic setbacks. They have to depend on their savings if any or they have to compromise on different necessities.

 

Like other fields of life, our educational system is affected a lot. Our schools remain closed for so many months successively. The management has to continue the system online. This is considered the best choice and provided an opportunity. At the same time, it can create a lot of problems. The level of understanding is compromised, teachers have to face many issues in contacting all students, so, so many students are discouraged. These all facilities are there for privileged students only, who have the facility of internet. Our vast majority belonging to rural areas are not having these luxuries. Working parents have to face extra problems in handling their children.

 

A social dilemma is also there. So many people have to stay home due to joblessness. This can result in both ways, negative or positive. On the negative side, husband and wife, along with their children have to stay at home. In the conditions of economic and psychological stress, they have to face so many clashes, which disturbs the whole scenario. The ratio of the breakage of marriages is uplifted.

 

The psychological impact of Covid-19 is of the greatest importance. All people have to face an immense psychological pressure, in the case of Covid-19 affecting their families or not. This fear is affecting day to day mode of behaving, dealing with usual fearful circumstances and the specific negative situation. Tension, depression and anxiety, all are the resulting symptoms. These resulted in many other social issues.

 

Behind these unusual and uncontrollable conditions of Covid-19, we are not in the position to stop it. We can only take good care of ourselves and the people around us.  We can act upon the precocious activities suggested by the management. We can also pray for the betterment of the conditions. One thing more can be done, is to see the situation from a broader perspective and break the circle of ‘ourselves’ and try to help out those who are in more difficult conditions, like our doctors, para-medical staff and social workers are doing. In this way, we can create some positive change in our prevalent scenario.

The Magic of Sorry

 The word “Sorry” is a small word but it is extremely effective. The giants of misbehaves can be managed with a small Sorry. It does not mean that we adopt this as a habit, but if we do something negative, we can apologize to make our’ and others’ lives easier and we can make these from good to best and this is the magic of sorry.

 

In our lives, we do some acts or show an attitude that hurts others. Many times, we realize its negativity but do not admit our mistake by saying sorry. In this way, we harm our own self-image on one hand and we also make our relations somewhat weaker. If we say sorry, at the right time, it may result in a positive way and can save our relations.

 

If we adopt this tradition of saying sorry as a habit and then again doing the same mistakes, it will not be fruitful. Sorry means feel bad about what had happened and then decide not to do the same in future. In this way, we get the maximum of its positives.

 

The attitude of others around us is of great value. If we are appreciated and respected, it will be easy for all the people around us to behave in the desired way of admitting our mistakes.

 

In the usual conditions of our daily lives, sorry is effective but it can do miracles in critical situations. Some people forgive even crimes after listening sorry, from the opposite side. It is a common practice that sorry can decrease the level of negativity.

 

It is true, sometimes we feel it difficult to accept our mistake. It may seem humiliating, but if we say this small word, we will be able to resolve big issues. If we hesitate to apologize, then there can be a regret of not saying sorry. After passing that time, the value of sorry is lost.

 

It is well said by someone, “The first to apologize is the bravest. The first to forgive is the strongest. The first to forget is the happiest.” The first position in certain deeds matters a lot. After passing the crucial time, the best kind of action is deprecated. We must take full benefit of our good actions, to have the best results.

 

After saying sorry, if we explain the cause of our wrong attitude or a mistaken act, the effects must be stronger of this word. In this way, the impact of sorry will be long lasting.

 

It is also observed that with the sorry, we can make a good account in the heart of others. This account can be flourished by doing more positive acts. The actions after that word will weigh more due to the strong impact on your personality.

 

Another quality that is required is forgiveness. If someone says sorry but the recipient does not accept it, then the issue is not resolved. As human beings, we all do mistakes. So, if we accept others' sorry, then the results may be positive. It is a great virtue to say sorry and it is also a great virtue to forgive. If we have both, we can contribute to a healthy and happy life. Thus it would be better to say forgiven and forgotten. Stay happy and blessed.

Negativity of Jealousy

 Feelings of jealousy and feelings of desire to achieve some ones’ better position are related feelings but are not the same. Negativity of jealousy feelings are not positive, so we must travel from good to best.

 

Jealousy is one of negative qualities or attitudes like a lie, cheating and bribery. The negativity of these feelings is obvious. These create troubles not only for the people but for the whole society. The balance of human life is disturbed due to them. These negative attitudes create feelings of restlessness and resentment on the part of the person having them. On the other hand, the sufferings these people create for them from whom they are jealous. These can destroy our relationships as well.

 

Jealousy means feelings of resentment and anger towards someone when he got something better than you. These feelings will lead to doing something negative to achieve that desired thing. It can be some act undesirable or illegal, or by creating something negative with the targeted people. Both of these things are obviously negative. These feelings can be natural but undesirable. So, we have to struggle to control these ones by doing some steps. These steps can be hard but will benefit in the end:

  1. The first step is to recognize these feelings. It is not necessary at all to tell others about them.
  2. The second step can be to justify the others’ position and feelings of acceptance.
  3. Then try to analyze your shortcomings and flows. In this way, we can improve our own condition. Some changes can be made in ourselves to improve our performance. This will be a positive reaction.
  4. Do not compare yourself with others. All have different characteristics, negative and positive. No one can have all the good ones and nobody can have anything from them. So, we must satisfy ourselves, whatever we have.
  5. It does not mean that we must give up. We must do every positive struggle to achieve our goals. We must be persistent to have them.
  6. Jealousy creates feelings of burning but positive competition creates feelings of competition and achievement. We must have a positive competition in our lives, not by pushing others but by pulling ourselves ahead.
  7. We must also be contained in whatever we have. It will create a feeling of relaxation and goodness which will help us to lead a positive and peaceful life.

In a society free from jealousy, it will be a progressive one. Due to that negative feeling, many kinds of moral crimes will be there. People feel bad about others' success. Then they try to pull their legs by hook or crook. In families, people do harmful things with the people, to whom they are jealous. This will destroy the peace of family life and ultimately the social life. It is a huge loss, we cannot afford it. Stay calm and positive.

Patience-A Precious Quality

 To lead a life in a positive way demands a lot from us. These include many human qualities and one of these is patience. It means the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. Patience-A Precious Quality helps us to make our lives good to best and leads toward success in life. 

Patience is a quality required in all phases of life. It is crucial

to be patient in different situations in life like at the times of sorrows or grieves, at the time of waiting for a long time, in difficult economic conditions, in joblessness and in sickness. If we pass this stressful time with patience, it becomes somewhat easy to tolerate. Patience improves your ability to accept setbacks and enjoy life much more. There is a saying; “Good things come to those who wait.” Patience allows you to persevere and make more productive decisions, often leading to greater success in coming life.

It is important to improve ourselves in patience by doing:

  1. Practice mindfulness by being in the present moment, remaining calm without showing stress or annoyance.
  2. Practice accepting our current circumstances with a positive struggle to improve the condition. 
  3. Actively build a tolerance for being a bit uncomfortable with acceptance of the negative circumstances with prayers for betterment.
  4. When we're feeling bad, consciously slow down our level of stress and discomfort by doing something else to break our level of stress. 
  5. Be playful by doing something interesting. To make us happy, though for some time.

The patient people are those who usually remain calm, try to be forgiving, show tolerance, be gentle and quiet. They try to be in the present moment and are accommodating with their circumstances. In this way, they can make their lives more comfortable, though living in difficult ones.

In our daily routine, patience has a very important part to play. We see a lot of massive rush on our roads. The sound of loud horns makes the environment more polluted. Everyone looks in a great hurry. It is observed that a lot of time is wasted in this situation. People have to face physical and mental torture in this condition. The main cause behind this situation is usually impatience. If everyone can wait for his turn showing patience, this traffic rush can be managed more easily in lesser time with least tension.

One way to understand the importance of one quality is to have an idea of the negative aspects of the opposite of that. There are many negative effects on our mind and body of impatience, including the physiological effects and psychological effects. When we are impatient, the body releases the stress hormone cortisol. According to a study, stress hormones stimulate platelets, making them more likely to clot in arteries. It can be more negative if someone has already narrowed arteries by heart disease that can result in a heart attack. Another effect of impatience is on our psychological health. It can create anxiety that can affect our behaviour. It can be resulted in more serious psychological issues and can be resulted in depression, which can be resulted in dissatisfaction in life.

So, we must develop patience in our lives to make our lives more easy, productive and beneficial not only for us but for others as well.

Knowledge Leads to Wisdom

 There is definitely some relation between wisdom and knowledge, however, wisdom is gained not only by having knowledge. It is also true that knowledge is necessary for life through a journey from making it good to best.

 

There is a difference of opinion, regarding the connection between wisdom and knowledge. Some have the opinion that knowledge, gained through the studying of new information, consists of rich storage of knowledge. Wisdom, on the other hand, has to do more with insight, accepting and understanding of the fundamental nature of facts. 

 

Knowledge is gained through learning facts. Someone who knows a lot about a certain subject, such as science or history, can be considered knowledgeable. Information found online or in books can help someone expand her knowledge on a topic. On the other hand, wisdom comes from observing experiences and learning from different sources. This thing affects future decisions and behaviour. That person who learns from his personal experience or learns indirectly from the experience by others’.

 

Wisdom and knowledge are linked. Wisdom is enhanced by knowledge and the ability to acquire knowledge effectively. But wisdom is also the ability to use knowledge in a practical and productive manner. Knowledge is often considered to be "externally generated," meaning that it comes primarily from outside sources, such as books, classroom lectures, videos, etc. On the other hand, wisdom is deemed to come primarily from the persons’ internal sources, by the processing of information according to introspective thinking, analysis, and judgment. 

 

Everyone in this world wants to be a wise person. It is not an easy task to be so. It requires a lot of things all to gather like

 

  1. Try new things: 

We can enhance our scenario of life by trying new things and tasks. In this way, we can have different types of information and experiences that will help us to increase our understanding of the world. This can help us to lead our life in a wiser way.

 

     2. Talk to unknown people: 

If we meet and talk to people, in our closer circle, then we have very limited social experiences. So, it would be better to increase our social activities, it will help us a lot in this regard.

 

  1. Be bold and do experiments:

It will be good to be bold and do experiments, within our limits. If we are afraid of doing difficult things, then our level of achievement will be below. To be a wise person, do some things unwisely. It will help you out. If we are not ready to take risks, then chances of improvement in personality will be low.

Try to look at things carefully. Good observation leads to a good understanding of our surroundings. If we are observant, we are informative and information helps in our understanding various issues of our lives. It will help us to act wisely. 

 

It is true that being a wise person is good for him to lead a successful life though it is not a cure at all. So many things are going to play their part. Tips to Develop your Grey Matter

 Grey Matter comprises neural cell bodies and it processes the incoming information in the brain. Its function, fast or slow, depends upon us. It is present in all human beings but it is up to us to make it stronger to make our lives good to best. In this way, our performance will be improved.

Grey Matter is usually called Brain. Commonly it is understood that how can we develop our grey matter or brain? It looks difficult but it is not so. For this, we should have some positive change in our lifestyle. We can make our daily routine in such a way that can help by doing:

 

     1. Reading:

Reading is a wonderful tool in developing our brain cells. It can give us the opportunity to have more knowledge about the world around us. This can be done by reading books, articles in newspapers, by seeing videos on television or the internet and by asking from elders and teachers. This information will help you to have to live a more positive life.

 

     2. Watching:

Another source of developing grey matter is watching. Videos, documentaries, informative films can provide interesting and deep knowledge. The things we see affect our memory in a very strong way, it includes our minds with our eyes and ears. So, more senses are involved that make sure that the level of understanding is high.

 

     3. Effective Listening:

Listening is really a great blessing that can help a lot in this development. Through it, we can increase our information. There are so many occasions and settings, where we have an opportunity to listen to valuable conversations between different people around us. It may include teacher’s lectures, our parent’s home discussions, speeches by famous people. One important aspect of this is our level of interest. If we are eager to listen, then we are better able to take advantage of it. It is observed that in a class, the lecture is the same for all but the level of understanding is different.

 

     4. Think actively:

When we listen or read or watch, we start things simultaneously. Our minds begin to think, according to our observation. We observe that, during seeing any movie or listening to anything or reading some material, we start thinking about it. We may start reflecting on the information we have obtained. It may involve in getting benefit from the information, we gathered.

 

     5. Absorb what is necessary:

A very important aspect is to select the required information from a huge bundle of information. We have to be selective according to our interests.

 

     6. Sleep:

Getting the right amount of sleep may be helpful. According to scientists and wise people as well, eight to nine hours’ sleep is essential to work and retain information in an active and effective way. More than this, or less than this, can hinder it. Another thing that is also important, is the timings of sleep. If we sleep very late and wake very late, it will not be a good way. At noon, after work we should have a nap, to make us fresh to complete our tasks.

 

     7. Diet:

Whatever diet we take, it matters. A healthy brain is found in a healthy body. If our daily diet is healthy and energetic, it will help in the development of grey matter. We should increase fruits, milk and a healthy amount of meat including fish. We should avoid junk food, these are not good for our health.

 

     8. Physical Activity:

An active body is beneficial for a healthy mind. So, we must have an active routine, including our prayers, daily required jobs and some exercise. It will be helpful indeed.

 

So, to have a healthy brain, having increasing grey matter is dependent on us. We can make some positive changes in our lifestyles to enjoy a better and more successful life that will affect us and the people around us.

Journey from Negativity to Positivity

 There are always two sides of everything, positive and negative. Human beings are the best creation and have given the choice of good and bad after describing right and wrong ways. So, we must do our journey from negativity to positivity.

 

Everyone has a negativity and a positivity inside. It is the right of the person to choose the best way. In this way, we can create a change in a positive way, not only in ourselves but in our surroundings as well. This change is definitely not a sweet cake to

 

eat. It demands a struggle, a battle with our negativity. If we have the desire to improve ourselves, we have to do something about that.   For this, we must have a deep understanding of our grey areas and light areas as well. In this way, we can better able to enhance our light areas and improve the grey ones. This will be the first and foremost step. Then with a very positive attitude, we can make an effort towards our desired direction.

Some important steps can be helpful:

 

1. Have a smile on your face:

It will look good to generally have a smile on your face. It will improve your image. In a society where everyone is in tension and stress. So, our smile with good remarks can decrease the level of this tension. It will be a great improvement.

 

2. Start changing your behaviour:

The key factor in this regard is to try to make a change in our attitude and mode of action. One example can help you in this way; I was travelling some years back. One girl was sitting beside me. Her way of talking was so good and impressive and I was forced to appreciate her. Then she told me about it that she was a very spoiled type of girl. Her family members were not happy with her. Then she realized the negativity of her own self. When she really struggled to make a positive change in her behaviour by changing her way of talking and behaving, she found a very positive change in others. So, it is not impossible at all. We should first make new habits and then our habits will make us.

 

3. Avoid overthinking:

It is a fact that our own minds are our best friends and our worst enemies as well. If you think excessively and negatively, then your attitude will also go towards the negative side and in the case of positive thinking, results will be accordingly. So, we should make our minds positive, if we want to make our behaviour positive.

 

4. Try to contact with positive people:

There is an effect of the people around us. If we meet more with the people, who have a good attitude regarding world and people, then it will affect us definitely. So we try to include positive people in our friend’s list.

 

Our life is limited and nobody can live forever. It is very important to lead a good life with a longer-lasting positive impact. If our impact on people and society is not good, then we will not leave a good image, it will not be better for us but will also be bad for our generations.

 

Empathy: An Essential Quality of Life

 Life is a big challenge for us. So many qualities are required for a successful life like pray, hard work, love, patience, consistency and being empathetic. Empathy: An Essential Quality of Life, means trying to feel by placing oneself into another’s place. It really helps us in making our lives from good to best.

 

Life is a big blessing of our creator. It is very precious and it has no replacement anywhere. So we must take care of it by doing some efforts and struggling consciously. It can be done by making our lives better by doing efforts in a positive direction. Another way to have a good life is by making others’ lives better.

 

In our society, we see people are facing so many problems. Some of these are due to economic problems or by health issues or due to natural disasters or by other’s attitudes. The issues we face due to natural disasters are problematic for us and disturb us a lot. With the passage of time, usually, we adjust with it. But, if our sufferings are due to other people’s attitudes and acts, then it will be more difficult for us to accept it.

 

So, it will be very beneficial for us to take care of our attitudes with others. If we can develop the quality of empathy in us, we will be in a better position not only to understand others feelings, we also can revise our life strategies. Empathy really works on a positive side. Research has shown that empathy makes people better managers and workers, and better family members and friends. It creates feelings of closeness with the people around us. We can better understand others’ scenarios and in this way, we can understand their feelings. This will help us to behave in a better and more positive way.

 

It is a fact that all people are not alike in having an empathic nature. Some people are more naturally empathetic than others. It includes three parts: the emotional centre perceives the feelings of others and the cognitive centre tries to understand why they feel that way and how we can be helpful to them, but there are easy, evidenced-based exercises that anyone can do to increase their empathy.

 

In role-play, an effective therapy used is psychology work on its basis. The patient or client was asked to play the role of the person; with whom he has some issue. In this way, he will be better able to understand the feelings and views of the other person. It will help to resolve the issue in an effective way.

Rights and Responsibilities always go Together

 Rights in a vacuum are nothing and responsibilities are of the same nature. The rights of one are in fact the responsibilities of the others and vice versa. If we are performing our jobs in a good way, we have the opportunity to move in the best direction.

 

It is common to demand our rights first, without thinking of our duties. It is not a logical way of thinking. If we want to see our society, a good one, then we must perform our duties as well. Without supply, there can be no demand.

 

Rights are the rules that help make everyone equal. When we are born we have some rights. These are basic human rights because every person has them. These rights in fact are the responsibilities of others and others rights are our responsibilities. Being a responsible human being means you care about other people's rights. 

 

The rights of a person are the responsibilities of someone else. If the right of a child to be cared for by his parents and the others important for him. Then, this care and love will pose a responsibility to respect, to obey and to care about those who cared for him. This is a very beautiful relationship where no governmental rules are usually required. It is a system of love that makes us responsible to care for our loved ones.

 

All other relations of rights and responsibilities are also there, which we must care about as humans. These include the rights of a student and the responsibilities as a student. The rights of a student are the responsibilities of his teachers. If teachers are responsible to provide good care of their students by providing them with good learning experiences, providing them with opportunities to learn and experience new knowledge. On the other hand, the student will be responsible to give a good response to the teachers, giving good respect to them by obeying them and performing well.

 

The first and foremost are the rights and responsibilities are between children and their parents. The rights of children are of the most important, in the whole relations around us. If children are not given their rights, they cannot survive. The right of nourishment they require for their lives, the right of safety from hot and cold, the right of basic training toilet and learning training. Without these hard pieces of training, a person cannot have a good life at all. But these all rights pose a big responsibility on them as well. They are supposed to give a positive and valuable response. They are required to respect their parents and elders. They must work hard to do well in their studies and other obligations. These good relations make the family and the community life a strong base for a healthy society.

 

There is a list of these mutual relations along with the discussed earlier:  between wife and husband, the employers and the employees, the administrator and the public and between the neighbours too. These all are mutual responsibility based relations. A balanced approach must be there, to make these relations positive and fruitful. In a progressive society, an easygoing and encouraging combination of rights and responsibilities is a must. A satisfied and happy society is an ideal one.

Plan your Day and Life

 Life is very precious and it is going on slowly and unknowingly. So, you have to plan your day and life, to get more from less time & to travel from good to best.

An unplanned work or job or day or life is definitely different from a planned one. With planning, we can make a priority list, what will be done first, then on the second number, and so on. This way we can complete our daily tasks in time. We also can have an idea, maybe it would a rough one, about the time it will take, the issues that you will face, to some extent, and the things and institutions you will require. We are living in a world that is so busy and full of many interesting options. As a student or a working person, we have certain main goals or targets from good to best, to achieve & find ways to stay focused. It’s a small attempt to explain.

This challenging world is a conflicting stage for all of us. We have to choose our track with our strength of will. So, focusing on our main goals is a must. How can we do this? It is the main question.

Few possible suggestions are given in this regard:

  1. Have a clear look at your goals. If we are clear, we can be more focused to achieve them. If you are younger, then this responsibility will be shifted towards elders around you, most possibly parents. They must be clear and have to provide a suitable environment for their young ones. 
  2. We must be aware of the demands of our targets. Keep high but realistic targets before you achieve them. Unrealistic targets can be discouraging. 
  3. Try to make a schedule for every day, with the help of elders, or do it yourself. Then try to act upon it strictly. 
  4. Schedule the timings for doing your work and assignments and for recreational activities, in a realistic way. 
  5. Be very regular and punctual. This quality will help you all your life. Try to finish daily tasks on a daily basis and never leave them pending.
  6. If we prepare our lectures beforehand, it will help a lot. We will be in a far better position to understand the materials: we have read before. It is a key to success.
  7. Try to limit your screen time. It is detrimental to your eyes, physique, and studies. Prefer outdoor games and exercises to make you healthy and fresh.
  8. Don’t depend only on your books. Try to get some extra knowledge. When teachers will examine your work, they will be happy to see some extra information and eventually it will enhance your impression and grades.
  9. Try to be positive, optimistic, and realistic. Do not leave your targets unfinished. Try to be persistent to have them.
  10. Do every possible and positive effort to get them. Make your canvas of options broader. It will help you to adjust in a better way. It will prevent you from feeling of discouragement.

 Yes! Learning the hard way. It is true. When you struggle to see what actually you are looking for. This is search and research. Nowadays it is very easy just Google it and a list of websites open up. You see it with examples. This way you will never forget it. 

When we are in school and college. If we go there reading the books beforehand it will be very helpful. The teacher only guides us on what is in it. Take time to read something or anything. Make a habit and read for some time say 15 minutes and then see the result.

Sometimes when you get something new like a mobile phone you start using it. Although it provides a user manual with it. But some people avoid consulting it. They think that they can use it immediately. They start fibbling with the equipment and after some time they get lost. But after some time they start to know what they were trying to get. This will never forget by them and this is known as learning the hard way. On the other hand, if they start using the manual from the beginning although they will learn to use the equipment they will take some time to learn and remember.

There are two schools of thought. One is first you read and learn the use of the equipment. The other is you start using the equipment and learn the way you use it. In both ways, you will learn.

Some time one say why do I need to read the manual? They are never successful. They start blaming the equipment which they were supposed to use. 

Learning the hard way can at times be a more efficient teacher, and letting students struggle before offering guidance may lead to deeper conceptual understanding and the ability to transfer what was learned to new problems.

Etiquettes are different for every field of life, like the family, the social set-up, the job specifications and the religious obligations. These are the rules for acting properly according to the expected norms of that area. These rules make the life of people more managed and accepted.

1 Be thoughtful:

It includes that we should try to do everything purposefully and thoughtfully. Our aimless activities and acts can create problems for us and wastage of time is a compulsion. 

2. Be helpful and cooperative:

It is very important to help people around us, especially those who are in trouble. It will make others relaxed and make us satisfied. It will result in a society that is more peaceful and satisfied.

3. Be cheerful: 

We try to remain relaxed and happy in our general life situations by looking positive side. Most of the things have their pros and cons. If we consider only the cons, we may remain in tension. So, to see cons or at least having a balanced view will create a positive impact. 

Always remain polite with others and speak gently. In this way, we can make others feel good and positive. It will encourage them to do something valuable, not only for them but for society as well. 

4. Don’t be bossy:

If we remain bossy with others and behave authoritatively, it will not only make others unhappy but make the whole atmosphere sad and unpleasant. We should be kind to others in normal conditions. If it is demanded to be somewhat harsh, then we must be within a certain limit and try to create some positive change. In this way, we can act more positively in our surroundings.

In our family, etiquettes are different from the etiquettes in offices or in mosques or in school or in-ground or in market.  Every place has different demands on people. The etiquettes of mosques are different from that of job and etiquettes of the market from that of driving. Success in all fields depends upon taking care of the etiquettes of that field. Those who don’t try to do this, cannot survive. 

The image of a nation depends upon the etiquettes its residents follow. If they follow these specific rules in their lives, they contribute a lot not only to image building but to the progress of their nation. 

Live and let live

 “Live and Let live” is a proverb, it means that a person should live as he or she chooses and let other people do the same. The base of it lies in the fact that we all are human beings having the same kind of nature and having same type of needs and requirements. To make our lives good to best, it is crucial to take this proverb into our consideration.

As human beings, all are equal and have the same rights and needs. So, we must on one hand try to have our own rights, as possible as we can. On the other hand, the rights of others are also having the same importance. The right of one person is the obligation of others. It will not be right to try to have only our rights and ignore the rights of others.

According to one meaning of this proverb is to accept the people as they are and do not try to change them. If we feel that there is some problem in others way of thinking or behaving, we only can advise them very politely and wisely, according to the relation with them. We can change their behaviour by presenting our better example or we can pray for them. No harsh words or action will be allowed. In this way, we can make our surroundings more positive.

This is a broad term, including several branches like:

  1. The basic requirement is to work decently and honestly without lying and stealing, not killing or exploiting anyone and not cheating or harming others.
  2. It expresses idea the idea that all should be able to live their lives in the manner they want to, regardless of what others may think of them. There will be no unnecessary pressures on people to do certain acts and not to do some others.
  3. It is especially related to our attitudes regarding minorities on the basis of religion, language, ethnicity, colour or cast. All have equal rights to act according to their special group of reference.
  4. There must be tolerance of others opinions, believes and actions. If we don’t like it, and usually we don’t, we must tolerate and accept it. Otherwise, there will be no peace and harmony in society. It will be the responsibility of the administration to ensure this in society.
  5. There must be a democratic atmosphere, which requires tolerance and acceptance of all others views and actions. In this way, we will have a better opportunity to know the views and beliefs of the other. In this way, we can compare and can choose the better options for us.
  6. It is good to have differences in our society. Imagine a world where all behave in a uniform way. It will look strange and no colour of difference will exist. It is more interesting to live in a world or society, where differences of opinion, attitude, likes and dislikes, behaviours and actions. It will make the world just like a beautiful painting, full of colours, expressions and impressions.
  7. In a society, where there is acceptance of others, with the attitude of making it easier for others to live their lives in a better way, with more benefits and facilities. In this way, an ideal social setup will be there. In such a will society, there will be a better opportunity to lead a peaceful, successful and cheerful life. Personal growth, social encouragement and governmental development will be enhanced. This will lead to an ideal situation for all of us.

 Real Happiness is a relative term, differs for everyone. What is common for all may be the feelings of calmness, peace and enthusiasm. Real happiness is the most important to make our lives good.

There are different meanings of happiness, expressed in the quotes about it. Someone says “Whoever is happy will make others happy”, “Real happiness doesn’t come from getting everything you want. It comes from sharing what you have with people who matter” and “The real happiness is self-contentment”. These are some quotes about real happiness. All present some colour of this term and shows the depth of it.

Happiness is a human construct or an abstract idea with no equivalent to actual human experience. Happiness is a state of human experience, which is found occasionally, not constantly. It is an internal feeling that makes a person cheerful in a certain time period.

The cause of happiness varies from person to person. Some feel happy about having some good remarks from others, some on buying a new car, some on eating a favourite food. Some on seeing the play, some on listening music of interest and some by making others happy. It is also possible that one thing is valued by someone but not by others.

In our common life, we can have some ways to make ourselves happy, for example, be with those people who make you smile, expect good by being positive, do things you love or at least do your tasks in your desirable ways, to your heart, push yourself not others, find purpose in your life and make others happy.

Our attitude towards life can make us happy or unhappy. Positive attitudes lead towards positive feelings. Those who remain calm do not find faults in themselves or in others usually remain happy. Every event, every situation and every person have different aspects and can be taken differently. Those who always see the dark or grey area of everything, remain unhappy and vice-versa.

Helping others can make you happy. Those help others by their behaviour, attitude, talk and gestures remain happy. It gives you a feeling of satisfaction. The base of establishing giving others welfare institutes lies in the real happiness, that can be found after providing comfort and relief to others. It can give you real self-satisfaction, resulting in happiness.

If we lead such a life that revolves around ourselves can give us satisfaction and happiness. These are definitely a noble cause in our lives and values a lot. If we want to have a true kind of happiness in our lives, we must adopt any purpose before us like adding something valuable to our surroundings. That can create a positive change by providing something good to others that make them happy.

Motivation is the Fuel for Success

 Motivation is the presence of purpose and desire to achieve any goal in life. It works like the fuel for success and is crucial for doing our jobs in our daily routine. It has the actual power to make our lives good to best. 

Motivation is important, simply to lead our lives. It makes our life meaningful, colourful and successful. It requires to start anything new, with positivity. To generate new ideas, then to set our goals, to focus on our goals and to stay positive, motivation works as the force for all these. If we are not motivated, we are not able to achieve any big achievement. 

How can we keep ourselves motivated? There are some tips that can help:

  1. If we do things, we are not interested in, and those are boring, we lose our interest in them. So, try to choose those tasks, you like, if possible. If you don’t have any choice, then try to perform that task in such a way, that creates some interest in it or do it in your own way. You also can try to take an interest in it by knowing it in some detail.
  2. Try to make a priority list of the tasks, you have to perform. Then do one task at one time, with proper care and interest. This will increase the speed and quality of work. This will help us to maintain our motivational level.
  3. Understand the importance of the task, you are going to perform. This will increase and maintain our motivational level.
  4. If your task is very big and exhaustive, it can also lose your motivation. Then try to divide it into small, doable portions. In this way, we can increase our motivational level by having a sense of accomplishment in completing one part of our bigger task.

By using these tips, we can enhance our motivational level which provides the base for our performance. If we are motivated, we can do many such things, which seem impossible without motivation. The famous people, including great spiritual leaders, innovative scientists, realistic poets and writers, sincere teachers, successful professionals and devoted students, definitely have a high degree of motivational level. Though their type and source of motivation will be different, but definitely that was there.

Motivation is a blessing of God. Those who are blessed with it, do something good and valuable. It gives us the force and strength to do miracles. All messengers presented a unique example of the divine force which made their supreme task, of changing the lives of mankind, easy for them. Then we also have some more examples of national leaders who changed the fortune of their nation like Quaid-e-Azam, who achieved a very difficult goal, despite of extremely negative circumstances his weak health. All who achieved something in this world, definitely have some strong motivation behind it.

It does not mean that motivational success is only nature-gifted. It can be developed in ourselves by using some techniques:

  1. Praying and meditation can help us to develop or increase our motivational level.
  2. A good night sleep can help.
  3. Healthy nutrition also can help by enhancing the body and mind activity, which is a must.
  4. Reading of the biographies of famous people, to know how they defeated the odds in their lives.
  5. Reading motivational quotes. 
  6. Helping others in their difficult situation always uplift our motivational level.
  7. Making a priority list of our lives according to our choices. This will help in achieving those tasks according to their importance.

We must try to have some noble aim in our lives, beyond our own life interests. This may be helpful in making our lives more meaningful and beneficial for our society.     

Patience in Life

 Patience is a human quality that values a lot. It means to tolerate unfavourable circumstances with courage and positivity. Patience in life is inevitable to make life good to best.

Human life is very unpredictable and risky. Different kinds of circumstances can occur at any time. Patience enables us to analyze things and situations beyond their face value. Positive ones, having self-control, are calm, empathetic and patient. They are always relaxing and helpful to others. These qualities give them inner peace in difficult situations.

An impatient person is often restless, easily irritable and might not hesitate in saying things that can hurt other people’s feelings. This kind of attitude, if continue, can offend other people. In this way, we can lose our relations. On the other hand, a patient person behaves in a reasonable way and does not lose temper in critical conditions. This quality may increase his likeliness.

To achieve anything in life, cannot be easy without patience. Our education, career, place in family and society all require patience. There is no other way to achieve any desirable thing, without patience. All high positions require a long struggle with patience. We observe that to achieve any respectable position in this world, maybe academically, spiritually or professionally, we have to do hard work with patience. We see that Pablo Picasso, a great painter could earn 5 million in 30 seconds, after the practice of 30 years with patience. Hellen Keller, a great writer, who cannot see and hear, get this position only and only by working patiently.

In our daily lives, we have to use this quality many times. We have to develop our relations with love, respect with patience. We have to compromise in our many life situations and it can create a difficult scenario but with patience and self-control, we can deal with it successfully. It is observed that the results of this patient behaviour always pays back to you in another way.

A very important life situation, where patience is required is on roads. If we drive with care, according to the rules and regulations and patience, we can reach our destinations in time, without any psychological stress and risks to our safety. Back in 2003 when I was visiting someone in London and I was to take a local city train. I went to the station and saw a new ticket machine. As it was new for me and there was no one at that time so I took some time to read the instructions. By chance I looked back there were about 12 to 15 people standing and waiting for their turn. Not a single soul said anything. They all were watching. So I asked the man standing back for assistance which he did very nicely and I apologized to the group that I had taken their time and thanked them for the same. This is patience. If we do our daily tasks with patience, by making a queue and priorities, it will look good and will save our precious time as well.

There can be a lot of negative events in one’s life. All demand different types of behaviours. Those events which are extremely sad and not in our control can only be tolerated with patience. It will be better to accept the will of our creator, as soon as we can. If this acceptance will be with patience, it will affect us in a positive way and will be helpful in adjustment.

Some other critical events occur continuously, sometimes for a long time. Some people have to face extreme financial issues, that make them so much disturbed. In these conditions, one has to do an effort to earn something by doing some job, but patience is very necessary.  Another time that is very critical and requires effort with patience is any serious health issue. If the patient himself and his caretakers focus on treatment with patience, results in a positive way.

It is also observed, this quality runs in families and generations. Usually, if parents are patient, their children grow with this quality. They learn how to behave in difficult situations. So, we must try to face problematic and critical life situations with prayers, courage and patience. In this way, we will be making our lives more peaceful, successful and helpful for our loved ones.

 Human beings are the best creation of The Creator of this universe. He can do everything in its reach and capacity. He is the best well-wisher of his own but can also do a lot for helping others, to make life from good to best.

We are born to please our creator and more than this to take care of other people around us; our parents, siblings, relatives, neighbours, friends and other fellows respectively. To help does not only means financial help, it may include help by providing some assistance, by giving some tip or guidance, by supporting morally, by backing someone in trouble or by saying some positive thing in a good way.

Superficially, it seems very small things but in fact, these are so valuable. If a person in any difficult situation is supported by any means, it becomes a blessing for that person. This small help becomes precious.

To refrain others from doing bad or behaving negatively is also included in the ways of help. It is also possible that the person will feel may feel somewhat bad, but at the end of the day, he will feel obliged. This will provide valuable help to the person in the problem.

For making life really valuable, it will be very positive to have an aim in your life. Everyone leads his life for himself. He tries his best to fulfil his needs, have some savings for the future and have some fun in his life and the life of his loved ones. A real satisfaction can be achieved to have some noble aim in life, that is beyond his own interests. It may include some welfare tasks, like providing some basic facilities to those, who don’t have, establishing some free or with less fee educational institution, providing free medical assistance, providing free or cheap residence to people in need and providing easy jobs and help in earning for leading a respectable and independent life. This kind of helping others is very much required in all societies and especially in a society like ours, where a lot of people are living a very terrible life with a very small income.

If this system can be provided on a governmental level, it will be the best. If it will not possible, then the responsibility of people, who are blessed is multiplied. We all must think about any possibility of helping others in our circle, to contribute something good in our society. We can provide pure water, any type of shelter by implanting a tree, by installing a shade in sunny or rainy weather or by speaking gently with people in need.

A society can be improved when this trend of helping others will be there. Loving and sympathetic relations among people can be established instead of extreme imbalance and lives full of tensions. Helping others will also boost you in society as a caring person. This attitude is good to best for all.

 Catharsis means to release or cleanse internal negative emotional pressure by telling someone about your feelings. It can help a lot. The effectiveness of Catharsis is valid for making the feelings from good to best.

The basic purpose of Catharsis is to bring about some kind of positive change in one’s life. It involves both a powerful emotional component in which strong emotions are felt and then expressed in an honest way. There must be opportunities for catharsis in all societies. People must provide the time to others to tell their sufferings. So, the tensions and sufferings of people can be released at least. There must be a balance between income and expenditure. If our expenditures are more than our income, it would be a debit situation, which is problematic, in many ways. If there is a balanced relation between our income and expenditure, it is good and satisfactory. If there is some money remaining after expenditure, it is our savings. This is crucial for every person, family, and country.

Income, however, of the family or of the country is important to run it. Those who use all assets carefully and save something for future needs. The future is always unforeseen. So, we must be farsighted, to some extent. To fulfill the demands in the future, we must have some savings for those issues to deal with.

Establishing a house or a country definitely requires money and assets and saving is compulsory for all. Extravagance and extra expenditures can destroy the way to progress. To increase the pace of progress, the development of different institutions like schools, hospitals, parks, roads, scientific labs, research institutions, and effective infrastructures are required. These cannot be managed without economic support.

Sometimes you have to give a hard look at your child or someone when he makes some mistake. This will remind him that he was being punished for doing this so with a hard look he will remember and will stop avoiding doing it again.

It is never meant to beat a child to spoil him but to teach him to be on the right path. The punishment could be a light slap or canning. Even sometimes a word can do magic. When one child becomes disciplined and likewise another child and then following it makes children disciplined and the whole nation becomes disciplined. It is a very slow process but it is fruitful. It not only makes everyone disciplined, but it also makes you work positively and positive growth takes place. A timely punishment is also good. Punish the child there and then when he does a mistake, but when the time is gone punishing the child afterwards it does not work. On the other hand, when the child follows your instruction and remains good, appreciate him for his good behaviour. Growing a child is not as difficult as it is thought. If parents are good, who once was a child and were taught good behaviour, are now good parents, and teach their child good. Remember a child always copies you and not what you tell him to do. Or in other words, the child is a teacher who guides you. Always beating a child is also bad and must be taken care of.

Self-Regulated Learning is A new trend

 Learning is the way to the development of individuals and society. The traditional ways are good but we must search for good to best. Self-regulated learning is a new trend in the field of learning.

 As the term is self-evident, learning is regulated and controlled by the learner, under the supervision of their teachers or supervisors. This new trend in education can help a lot in making students more active. In traditional ways, teachers control the whole system as active participants and students are a passive-learners. In the new one, students are the focus of the system. 

 Imagine a student, having in a passive position, listening to teachers’ lessons or lectures, sometimes cannot listen or understands fully. Usually, it is not appreciated to ask again and again for clearance. So, their level of understanding remains low, which affects his performance in examinations. These students, after completing their studies, can have so many problems in performing any job confidently.

In this new trend, students are the main focus of the whole system. They have options, from which they select their fields themselves. They make a schedule for their studies according to their interest and their pace of learning. Then they evaluate their performance with teachers’ guidance. On the basis of his performance, they encourage themselves or otherwise. 

 The role of teachers, in this new trend, is different but important. They are going to work differently but with more perfection and activation. They are going to accept this new role with a positive mindset. They are working with all students, differently, according to their specific pace and interest. 

 This new trend will require training, at the part of teachers and the students as well. Without training, it will be not easy to adopt a new style of teaching and learning. It may require research in different related fields, like which strategies of guiding students will work better? What methods will be helpful in making students according to the demands of self-regulated learning? Are our students can use it from the beginning? How children will act in this system?

 This will require a change in our traditional educational system, at all levels. Special teachers’ training courses will have to be arranged. The training teams will also have to be trained.

 Self-regulated Learning can lead to a change in society from a grass root level. It will improve the mental abilities of students, who are the future of our society. The thinking abilities, managing strategies, and self-controlling techniques will help them to be better citizens. These students, when ultimately will work, their performance will be far better than the previous ones. This change will definitely enhance the pace of development.

To change the condition and fasten the pace of our nations’ development, these kinds of changes can help a lot. The pace of change will be slow but will be longer-lasting. These drastic steps are sometimes crucial.

Neighbours

 Our neighbours, the people living around us, are important ones, sometimes more than our relatives. They are our closest, who can make our lives good to best, by helping us in our needs and emergencies. Their support is so valuable that cannot be replaced by anything.

The importance of neighbours is authentic in all religions and societies. How long and how well we live is determined not only by our personal behaviour but by our social relationships and our physical environment including neighbours who can positively affect the most important aspects of our lives, laying the foundation for better health, increased safety.

It is very important to have good neighbours. If they have positive relations, it is just a blessing. We can depend on them in difficult situations. They can help in emergency situations when our relatives are not with us. We can ask them about our daily needs and hardships. In case of our travel to another area, our neighbours can take good care of our home in our absence.

If the situation is not positive and we have to deal with the neighbours, not positive with us, the situation will be miserable. We can have a lot of tensions and hardships including physical troubles, psychological issues and economic setbacks.

A good neighbourhood depends on certain grounds. If we have helpful and sincere, that’s fine. If the situation is other way round, then we do have to face many problems, we have to do efforts to improve the situation. A long term good behaviour, on our side, can make a gradual change in these relations. Patience and tolerance can help. In any case, we must be very careful. We must help them with their needs and problems. This will help a lot.

The neighbourhood is not limited to homes only, it includes cities and countries as well. Good neighbour countries can be helpful with their neighbour countries. A good neighbour country can become a very close friend. It ensures peace and development in their area.

The neighbourhood requires some rights and duties as well. The rights of one neighbour is the duty of the other. It creates a very beautiful relationship among people. The relation with or without any physical bond is precious. It is unique and inclusive indeed.

The best part of the neighbourhood brings happiness and closeness at the time of different occasions like Eid or Chrimatss or any other national festival. At that time we share some sweet dishes or some time food depending upon the occasion. Having a good neighbour is a blessing.

Practice Makes A Man Perfect


Practice means to perform an act, again and again, to achieve perfection. Practice makes a man perfect and anybody can go from good to best with practice. 

There is no shortcut to practice. Practice really works. Another important aspect of practice is that first learn true things then do the practice. Otherwise, the practice of wrong things or knowledge can lead you the opposite way. Then to unlearn and then relearn will be an issue.  So, the correctness of knowledge or art is the base.

It can make the worth of a person many times, however, he is an artist or a teacher, an architect or a mason, a plumber, a player or a tailor, and so on. Picasso was a famous painter. Once a woman collided with Picasso on a street and could not recognize him at that time. When he told her who he was, she asked him to make a drawing for her. He made a beautiful painting in only 3o seconds, which means within half a minute. She asked for a price and Picasso told her 5 million. She became so surprised and did not pay anything. Then she took that painting to different art shops. They recognized that this was made by Picasso and told the same price, 5 million. She searched for Picasso and asked him to teach her how to make this picture. He replied that, behind these 30 seconds, there was the practice of 30 years.

So, if we want to excel in any field, we require practice. There is no substitute for practice. With practice, we can improve our quality of work, increase our speed, and can avoid mistakes. It always requires some time to have practice in any field. Intelligence can play a vital role to perform any task in a better way. It also can shorten the period of practice, but the practice is a must. Practice can be a substitute, in a way, of the sharpness of mind. It is usually observed that if a person who is less intelligent performs better than an intelligent person.

Intelligence is obviously God-gifted. There are so many people who do not use their intelligence fully, due to different reasons. He may have unfavorable circumstances, socially or economically. We can improve our performance with practice. 

There is a relationship between practice and motivation. Without motivation, practice will not be easy. Motivation can be for doing something good or achieving some target. Practice can give you confidence, respect, and worth. One hockey players’ performance was outstanding. It was felt that the ball was attached to his hockey. All players and spectators were very much inspired by him. On asking he told the reason that he practiced a lot. He used to keep the ball on the railway track with the help of his hockey. So, his practice gave him a worth.

It is very much important for students as well. Those who practice their conceptual, reading, and writing skills, perform better. With practice, the deep impressions on our minds are evolved. Which can help us in remembering information or performing a task with ease and quickness. In different professions, practice and updating of knowledge can help a lot. Without these, we cannot excel anywhere.

There are no shortcuts to a successful life. We must prepare ourselves to hardworking by practicing and making an effort. In this way we can lead a better life, can help our families and can perform any good for our society as well.

Self confidence is Must

 Self-confidence is an attitude about your skills and abilities. It means you accept and trust yourself and have a sense of control in your life. It is possible that one may have confidence in one area but lacking in the other one. One can be good and confident in his managing qualities but not in academic performance or vice versa. It is also possible that one can be confident in writing in an expressive way but not in speaking impressively. A healthy sense of self-confidence is all about having a balanced view of yourself — taking pride in your abilities. While recognizing your flaws, but an important fact is that self confidence is must for a successful life and our journey towards good to best must continue.

Developing skills, in this regard, always leads to increased confidence. So, if we try to improve our main areas related to our social impression and performance, it will help a lot. It is usually said that the first impression is the last impression, but we can change our impression in a good way by practicing our positive behaviors. In this way, we can create a new impression for ourselves.

Confidence helps us feel ready for life's experiences. When we're confident, we're more likely to move forward with people and opportunities — not back away from them. It's the opposite when confidence is low. People who are low on confidence might have good capacities, have weak goals, and might be less likely to try new things or reach out to new people.

It will be beneficial to know how one can improve the level of his confidence. Some of these can be:

  1. Don’t compare yourself with others. Everyone is unique, having unique personality traits and abilities. So try to improve your lifestyle in a positive direction.
  2. Surround yourself with positive people. Positivity creates positivity and vice versa. People having encouraging talk will help you to move farther and discouraging one can do the opposite.
  3. Practice positive self-talk. It will help a lot in achieving your goals. If we pass positive and encouraging messages to ourselves like “I can try this task”, “I will be successful in examinations with some effort” or “Like in the past, I will perform better in future”. On the other hand negative self-talk like “I have become aged, I cannot do this as I could do in the past” or “It is looking so difficult to talk before the whole class”. In this way, we are discouraging ourselves. It will affect our future performance. 
  4. Be kind to yourself. Don’t feel bad about small mistakes.
  5. It will be more positive to face your fears than to avoid them. If you try to face it and try to overcome it by practice, it will help a lot.
  6. Take good care of your personality by having a vivid observation of our good and bad impressions. We can improve it by changing our outlook, by improving our hairstyle, our dressing, our talk, and our attitude towards others. We can do it by conscious efforts to improve our impression, which can boost our confidence level. 

On the other hand, there is the feeling of over-confidence. It is a biased way of looking at a situation. You can have more confidence in yourself, without having any special one, which can have negative effects in most situations. When you are overconfident, you misjudge your value, opinion, beliefs, or abilities, and you have more confidence than you should.  A downside to overconfidence is that it can actually cause you to make more mistakes. You can lead to losing money from poor investing decisions, losing the trust of people who rely on you or wasting time on an idea than you would if your ego was more balanced.

Improving our own confidence is good for us and for the people around us. To encourage other people and make them confident is a good attitude that makes others more successful in their lives. Confident people are always good people, good fathers, good mothers, and good citizens.
