Eid is a celebration of happiness after passing a full month of fasting and other related sacred acts of worship. This celebration under divine guidance can give us true happiness and can lead towards a life that can make it from good to best. It is the secret of a successful life.
Then it is legitimate and desirable to celebrate this day with happiness, by dressing up in good clothes, eating good food and by meeting other loved ones wholeheartedly. With all these happy activities, we must share our delight with those who don’t have enough resources. This may give us a deep sense of satisfaction and happiness.
In all these celebrations, one thing that is of key importance is balance. Extravagance in making dresses, and making so many dishes is not commendable. In this way, we will waste a lot of valuable money, in a couple of days which can suffice a lot of needy people.
Eid is in fact an inevitable part of Ramadan and is a continuation of it. At the end of the month of self-control, sacrifice and care for people in need, we celebrate our Eid with these.
It is a day of happiness in a global sense. We can share our dresses and food on this special occasion with those who cannot afford it. In this way, we can really make it a day of happiness in its true sense. If we take care of some people in our circle, by doing in the same way, we can spread these feelings in a global way, which is required.
One very important point regarding Ramadan and Eid is that we must try our best to continue all these spiritual activities, for the whole year. It is human nature that usually we may forget them gradually but our total effort is desirable in this way.
We must train our children to practice this routine along with us to continue this in future. When we do practice it, our children will definitely learn and will automatically continue in their lives in future. In this way, we may create a society with good habits, which is required from us.
